Protocol Teachers

Client Requirement:
Protocol Teachers are one of the largest recruiters and suppliers of staff to the education sector in the UK, with around 18 offices and a London HQ.

The use of any number of suppliers for stationery, operational and promotional literature and give-away items production was generating logistical and administrative issues across the company.

Satellite offices wishing to order simple items such as business cards, would have to go through the London headquarters to requisition and manage production and delivery on their behalf.

Stock management was extremely difficult; not knowing which surplus items were held where, was causing delays in despatch, and created the potential for over-production and wastage.

The Solution:
Working closely with Protocol Teachers to understand their needs, BCQ implemented a complete online print management system to streamline, standardise and better manage print production and stock control throughout the company.

BCQ manage production and distribution of print from a single source on behalf of Protocol Teachers.

The Benefits:
  • Satellite offices can renew their stock of standard stationery items directly from BCQ, online. Staff manage their own artwork amendments using templates where corporate design guidelines are locked-down. Approval stages from London HQ are no longer necessary.
  • Online ordering of stock items saves time and money; where fresh artwork had to be created for each new item previously, staff now generate their own.
  • HQ resources are no longer tied up with mundane print processes.
  • All stock items, from marketing literature to point-of-sale materials, can be viewed and checked online then printed on-demand.
  • BCQ centrally handle all despatch and bulk deliveries on a monthly basis.
  • Print-on-demand allows a vast improvement in stock management, as printed items are produced in manageable quantities, with no wastage.
  • The client avoids agency mark up costs for print management and production.

"BCQ are a very 'can do' company and have taken away so many problems for us. They constantly look for ways for us to improve quality, but save money at the same time. "
